Oak Engineering Group, D.P.C. was founded in 2020 in Newburgh, NY by Andy McCaddin. As a young company, we are focused on demonstrating diligent design and superior communication with our new clients. Company priorities include:

• Responsiveness: We aim to communicate quickly and clearly with owners, architects, and contractors. We believe in proactive and effective communication to resolve project issues before they become critical.

• Teamwork Focus: We have found that projects go best for all parties when owners, designers, and contractors are working together as a team.

• Code Expertise: OEG believes strongly in knowing the applicable laws, codes, and standards, and how they interact. We thoroughly read local codes, owner standards, utility documentation, and other relevant documents. By generating and utilizing checklists for each document, we ensure compliance.

Andy has experience in design, project management, and construction administration. His experience ranges from small bathroom renovations to new 100,000 square foot laboratory buildings, with clients ranging from homeowners to government agencies.

Andy moved to New York in 2020 for family reasons, and has set out to establish himself in a new market.
