Experience
Power Quality
Generator
OEG personnel have designed and overseen generator installations for a variety of new and existing buildings. Projects included:
Adding a whole-building generator to an existing building.
Modifying an oversized generator to power additional loads or an entire facility.
Emergency (life safety) generators for new facilities.
Diesel, propane, and natural gas fuels.

Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
We have experience with specification of large central UPS systems to power entire buildings or dedicated distribution systems. Past projects include:
Critical manufacturing (e.g. biopharma production facility)
Laboratory equipment
Battery and rotary UPS systems.

Selective Coordination
Existing facilities sometimes have problems with nuisance circuit breaker tripping or large outages after small faults. Selective Coordination involves adjusting circuit breakers to ensure reduced nuisance tripping and localized outages during faults. We perform:
Code-required selective coordination for emergency and healthcare systems.
General coordination investigations, reports, and if necessary, corrective designs.
Investigation of mechanical and industrial electrical problems.
